The Empire Duet Adjustable Piano Bench is a high quality, tufted artist bench available at an incredible price. It is constructed of 100% hardwood, with spade legs, and features a heavy-duty adjustable raising mechanism, adjusting in height from 19" to 22". The bench is a true artist bench (compared to simply an adjustable piano bench), meaning that it has a skirt going around the upholstered top to prevent the raising mechanism from being visible when the bench is raised. The bench also features a music storage compartment. A great bang-for-your-buck, we love this bench!

Note that this is a 35" wide piano bench, making it one of the wider duets on the market. Many sites begin listing duet benches at 30" (with standard size benches being 22" to 25").



Heavy Duty Piano Lifting Mechanism:

Pictured below is the heavy duty brass piano lifting mechanism. Well built, it allows for precise adjustments an height, and will not break down over time. The raising arms connect to hardware on both the frame and upholstered top sections of the piano bench, adding extra stability and durability. In general, this is one of the better raising mechanisms on the market, especially for a piano bench in this price range.



Our Piano Bench Review:

We are very impressed with this duet artist bench. It is comfortable, stylish, and well made, and for the price it may be the best deal on the internet for a DUET piano bench. Also note that it is 35" wide, making it a larger duet. Many sites will list duet benches beginning at 30", so this is on the bigger side of duets--and for me personally, if I'm sitting on the bench with another person, I find the 30" to be somewhat small and crowded.
