This piano chair is raised by two wooden knobs on each side of the seat, and adjusts from 17" to 21.5". The padded seat measures 17.5" x 17.5", and is upholstered with black vinyl. Unique to this chair is the padded back support--all other piano chairs on the market today have a wooden back. The foam padding is 2.5 inches thick.
Piano chairs are great for long practice periods, providing proper back support and posture, and the padded back of this chair will make playing that much more comfortable.
