Thick Foam Padding:
The foam used in this cushion is 1.5" thick. Standard bench cushions use 1 inch of foam, and we've found that extra half inch makes a significant difference in terms of comfort.
Premium USA Manufactured Foam:
Completely manufactured in the United States, this cushion uses a high end, medium firmness foam. It's the same foam that provides the base of quality layered mattresses. When choosing a foam, the cushion manufacturer went with the most expensive option--providing the best option in terms of comfort and longevity.
Water-Resistant Polyester Fabric:
The cushions are made out of a water resistant polyester fabric. It's a much more durable material than the velvet and velour cushions on the market, and it's great for enviornments where spills can happen (churches, schools, piano teachers, homes with small children, etc.).
Zippered Opening - Removable Cover:
A highly sought after feature not found in any other piano bench cushion, this pad features a zippered opening on the back of the cushion, which allows you to open it up and remove the foam.
